These classes are sign-up only and last six months to a year. Our instructor will start you on a simple project, teaching you the basics of quilting. By the end of the year you will be making your very own quilt. You will need your own sewing machine and a knowledge of basic sewing skills.
Participants bring their own individual sewing projects to work on while they visit with others. Some sew, some crochet, and some even do cross-stitch. Come join this chatty group to see what others are working on
and show off your own creativity.
If you love to knit or crochet items for others, this group meets in the Orange Room every Tuesday of the month. The center has a supply of yarn from which participants may select. Patterns are available, and helpful hints are shared. Items most donated are scarves, hats, baby hats, crayon boxes, and lap afghans.
Learn how to make a variety of craft projects in this class. A new project is introduced each week. Come enjoy creating great gifts for others and, of course, yourself!
