Where People Become Friends


The mission of the Delos V. Smith Senior Center
is to enhance the quality of life of older citizens through the support of
education, cultural programs and the arts in Hutchinson and Reno County.




The Center closes whenever USD 308 closes for inclement weather.

The Center will be closed for Memorial Day, May 29, 2017.

 A new Beginning Watercolor class will start on Thursday,
June 1st, from 10 AM to 12 PM. The current beginners class
is being promoted to intermediate. Congratulations!

The Quilting & Twilling class has become Stitch-N-Chat. Bring
your own sewing project on Thursday mornings, and chat
while you sew.

Upcoming Events

The June Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 8th.
Please sign up by Tuesday, June 6th. David Vidal, blues
guitarist, will perform.
 "Online Genealogy" will be presented by Jan Steen
from the K-State Extension Office on Thursday,
June 15th, at 
3:30 PM in the Auditorium.
AARP Smart Driving Class will be held on Wednesday,
May 31st. Sign-up is required.
