The mission of the Delos V. Smith Senior Center
is to enhance the quality of life of older citizens through the support of
education, cultural programs and the arts in Hutchinson and Reno County.

 Announcements

 Attention, Line Dancers! The center now is offering two classes of line dancing: Wednesday mornings from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, and now Monday mornings from 10 AM to 11 AM.

 CLOSINGS: The center will be closed on Friday, December 23rd through Monday, January 2, 2023, for the Christmas holiday. The center will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

   Upcoming Events

Sign up for our December Lunch-n-Learn on Tuesday, December 13th, at 11:30 AM. Director Nicole Mantz from the Hutchinson Zoo will present on their ongoing expansion efforts and the zoo's award-winning work with endangered animals. We will start serving turkey and noodles at 11:15 AM. Sign up today! It's free!

Our annual Christmas Sampler will be held on Friday, December 16th, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The cost is $5.00 or bring a trail mix to share and get in free (make sure you give Jody the recipe for our cookbook!) Chef Beaux from Legend, recurring host Jill Holcomb, and our own Erin Stratton will give cooking demonstrations throughout the morning and then we will eat their creations for lunch.
